We are looking for a financial compliance lead that can design and implement our future financial compliance solution on our SAP S/4HANA platform.
The role entails a broad range of tasks where you will work towards the global line of business, Global Tax and Accounting forums, Internal Audit and our external auditors etc. You are expected to provide recommendations to senior management within both line of business and Finance on how to design and implement our future financial compliance processes.
This would require that you are responsible for ensuring that the Novo Nordisk group and legal entities comply with the requirements set forth by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (Sarbox) also in relation to the use of IT in finance processes with SAP S/4HANA. About the department
Digital Finance and Architecture is part of Novo Nordisk Finance and Compliance and is responsible for the financial reporting and compliance and driving digital transformation. In Digital Finance and Architecture, you will be part of a young and ambitious team in Denmark. You will further be collaboration with colleagues across Finance, IT and business and a member of the project management office of the SAP S/4 HANA programme.
Our overall ambition is to create the best data foundation and infrastructure to our stakeholders by combining strong financial competencies with a solid understanding of the business in which we operate.
To do this, we collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation. We invest significant resources in developing our employees through close sparring, frequent feedback and by giving challenging tasks and a high degree of responsibility. Qualifications
As the Financial compliance lead for our SAP S/4HANA Programme , we expect you to meet the following: Degree in Business administration, Auditing or Finance Minimum 5-7 years of experience from audit firms combined with industry experience in financial compliance, internal controls, or internal audit. Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred Extensive experience with SAP and other large ERP financial systems and environment is required Action oriented with a “do what it takes” mindset and positive attitude Ability to build relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders with a commitment to quality and customer focus mindset Ability to lead a project in the development and implementation of processes and programs Adept at identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement Ability to utilize knowledge of the project management cycle, including stakeholder analysis, change management, execution and analysis to ensure the successful completion of projects Manage ambiguity and learn quickly when facing new challenges Excellent verbal and written communication both in informal and presentation setting Strong skills in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint As a person, you can effectively plan, prioritise, execute, follow up in a proactive and timely manner acting with strong strategic and analytical skills.
You have a high degree of independence, high-quality mind set, and can maintain an overview also under time pressure. Furthermore, you have a strong cultural understanding and deep knowledge of the value chain in global companies
