The Position As one of our Senior Project Managers, you will have project management of cross-organizational projects (medium and high complexity) related to the establishment of complex production set up internally in Novo Nordisk, at external manufacturing sites situated globally or to manage to establish new production sites mainly in EU, this includes:
  • Direct key strategic project planning and execution, including creating and developing the project plan, as well as monitoring and controlling project work.
  • Assess the foundations of the business case and challenge assumptions for informed decision-making. Negotiate project resources with Line of Business management and effectively manage them throughout project execution.
  • Collaborate with the project owner to establish appropriate project governance, report project performance to stakeholders, and perform integrated change control.
  • Archive all critical project data, and upon project completion, conduct a thorough evaluation and share valuable lessons learned.
  • Ensure compliance with Novo Nordisk Quality Management System and Product Supply, Quality & IT (PSQIT) Environmental, Health, and Safety Management systems.
  • Coordinate with other projects in Device Manufacturing & Sourcing (DMS), actively supporting the implementation of standards and ways of working across DMS, while contributing to best practice project execution.
    • Qualifications To be considered for this position, we expect you to have:
  • B.Sc or M.Sc in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or in any other related field, a training in Project Management, and an International Certification in Project Management such as PMP certification.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the operational delivery of large-scale international projects associated with production, manufacturing, or CapEx Investment.
  • Experience in production operations and associated equipment, outsourcing/establishment of production setup through external suppliers, Utilities, and Building & Construction.
  • Knowledge of GMP within a production environment.
  • Fluency in both written and verbal English language.

With a business-driven focus, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills, you are well-prepared to excel as a Senior Project Manager. About the department The Project Management Office is a newly created department in DMS that aims to be the Centre of Excellence in Project Management. Our key focus includes not only the improvement of Project Management systems and processes but also the planning and execution of complex and strategic projects. You will be joining a team of 12.
