As Senior Project Manager, you will oversee cross-organization projects and work packages. As you can expect, the role comes with a wide array of tasks, but we have put together a list of your main responsibilities:
• Lead international project teams of highly skilled engineers and specialists responsible for implementation facilities to host highly innovative solutions and equipment.
• Drive project teams and work from early development to post-launch phase of new product lines.
• Manage a wide range of stakeholders within Novo Nordisk and externally.
• Be responsible for initiating, executing, and finalizing projects within our project execution framework.
• Act as the link between the workgroups, steering groups, project owners, project governance and key stakeholders.
• Report and communicate at various organizational levels. Finally, as a member of the team, we will encourage you to contribute to the continuous improvement of our everyday work as well as more tactical initiatives.
The position will initially be in Gentofte and Greater Copenhagen and eventually it might change to other facilities in Denmark and the position may occasionally require oversea travel.
Qualifications
To be a great asset to our team, you will have:
• A Master’s Degree in business, economics, engineering or similar and 5 years of track record experience as a project manager preferably within a regulated industry.
• Construction experience, e.g., infrastructure, building & HVAC, and electrical installations.
• Broad experience using project tools and project reporting.
• Knowledge refining the key messages to a management level when reporting to steering groups and governance.
• Experience managing and driving several projects at the same time and taking a methodical approach to work and tasks.
• Full proficiency in spoken and written English. As a professional, you have communicative and collaborative skills. We expect that you can set the direction and drive performance, ensuring quality and speed while being pragmatic. Balancing conflicting inputs by respecting and including others’ opinions viewpoints is essential.
You will fit well in our diverse and dynamic team if, as a person, you are enthusiastic, flexible, and self-motivating with the ability to work independently. This is a fast-paced working environment, so when the pressure is on, you will ideally be the one in the team who can bring a can-do attitude and a healthy sense of humor to the office. It is important to us that you remain flexible when priorities change while ensuring the short- and long-term motivation of the project teams. About the department
In our area, we are diverse in many ways: internationals and Danes, with variety in our educational backgrounds, many years of experience, as well as recently graduated. You will be part of BRD Project Execution team in the Digital & Projects department within our Manufacturing Development area. The main responsibility for the team is to lead investment projects across Product Supply BRD in Denmark and we are focused on expanding our investments in facilities and equipment. BRD Digital & Projects is part of BRD Manufacturing Development & Quality Control that has its base in Denmark. What other companies call Manufacturing Science & Analytical Technology (MSAT) we call Manufacturing Development. We are app. 500 colleagues who are the end-to-end station for product and process development for all BRD production facilities, driving innovation both when it comes to industry 4.0 technology and expansion of the product portfolio.
