The position As our new Project Director for OT/Automation, you will enable our IT, Automation & Digital Ambition by steering the execution of automation in partnership with a massive cross-organizational stakeholder landscape across Digital, Data & IT, Product Supply and suppliers located globally. With a team of highly skilled automation specialists and senior project managers, you will among others Structure, plan and execute a large landscape of OT/automation solutions and our digital ambition globally across multiple new production sites Co-create and ensure adherence to global standards and principles across the program in partnership with our domain architects Engage with equipment suppliers to drive & influence standardized automation solutions Drive design and implementation of process automation and cross-automation solutions for SCADA, integrations, Manufacturing Execution System, historian, recipe management, … Secure readiness globally across people, technology & processes for factory and site acceptance testing Ensure alignment on automation across Aseptic Production (AP), Finished Production (FP) and IntraLogistics. Drive operational readiness initiatives to ensure operational simplicity and smooth transition to operations In addition, you will be a key member of IT & Automation’s Core Leadership Team, joining a diverse team of leads representing both functional tracks such as IT & Infrastructure, PMO, Automation for FP/IntraLogistics, Quality and Production Sites in scope. The position will give you the opportunity to travel across our suppliers and production sites. Qualifications
To be successful in this role we require you to have the following: Bachelor's- or Master's degree in either Automation/Electrical Engineering, Electronic and computer, Information- and communication technology or similar Strong capacity of decision making, project management and stakeholder management skills Significant Project Leadership experience in driving complex IT projects (experience in automation projects is a plus) Excellent communication skills You have an extra edge if you have a good understanding of SCADA/PLC/MES environment, state-of-the-art communication protocols (OPC UA, IO-link, MQTT, Profibus, Profinet …), OT/IT architectures, cybersecurity best practices, and tools to structure industrial data (databases, namely SQL), etc. As a person, you act as a role model in living Novo Nordisk values who enjoys engaging with stakeholders from diverse areas and backgrounds to co-create solutions that drive value to the company. You gain energy from working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and can manage multiple priorities. You work independently, effectively while securing your tasks are completed and must be an excellent teammate and have strong abilities to lead in project teams. Started in April 2022, DD&IT PS -AP Expansions is in Gentofte, Denmark. We are organized in a multi-dimensional matrix structure to strengthen cross-organizational and cross-functional collaboration. Our ambition is to design and build future-proof, global aseptic production facilities, by establishing strong foundational IT and automation that will enable the facilities to digitally evolve.
