As a Corporate Counsel in the Pharma Law team, you will work independently on exciting legal issues with high business impact. Your key responsibilities will be: Acting as a trusted legal advisor to key business stakeholders, primarily Global Marketing and Medical Affairs. Securing compliance with internal and external rules in relation to product communications, including promotional material and scientific activities. Providing impactful legal advice in cross functional teams and on key strategic projects including new global product launches and label updates. Driving training of global legal and business stakeholders, including developing proactive guidelines and tools to help navigate complex legal and compliance matters. Developing innovative legal solutions to new and challenging issues in a changing environment and driving ad-hoc strategic projects. Furthermore, you will be involved in cross-functional Global Legal projects and engage with a diverse range of stakeholders both within Global Legal and across the organisation, as well as external counsels and third parties. Your tasks also include being responsible for key tasks independently, as well as together with the lawyers in the team and abroad. The workplaces will be in Bagsværd and Søborg, Denmark. As part of the Global Legal organisation, you would also be involved with cross-functional Global Legal projects. This position, along with other various opportunities within Novo Nordisk in Denmark and abroad, offers potential for further personal development. Qualifications
You hold a Law degree and have 3+ years of experience from a major law firm or in-house legal department.
Other success criteria are: Pharma industry experience preferred (e.g. advisory experience regarding the promotion of pharmaceutical products). Project management skills, incl. ability to drive multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a structured manner, and to take a strategic approach to risk management and prioritisation. Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English. Strong stakeholder management skills, which enable you to clearly convey complex issues and navigate among stakeholders from different cultures and business functions. On a personal level, you are curious and have a “can-do”, solution-oriented, and positive attitude, which enables you to establish strong professional relationships internally and externally. Your attention to detail combined with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet tight deadlines, makes you a perfect fit to the team. About the department
You will be a key part of the high performing, dynamic and international Clinical and Commercialisation legal team consisting of 10 lawyers in Denmark and 2 lawyers in Bangalore that are legal business partners to Marketing, Commercial, Clinical Development, Regulatory and Medical Affairs, Public Affairs and Corporate Communication. The team is part of the Pharma Law team in Global Legal & Patents, located in Novo Nordisk’s headquarters in Bagsværd, Denmark.
