Head of Project Portfolio Management Are you interested in taking on a pivotal role in one of our most significant investment initiatives? Are you known for your sharp analytical skills? The Role In this unique opportunity, you will be responsible for leading the portfolio management office, which includes organizing executive-level portfolio governance meetings, reviewing and endorsing materials for these meetings, and collaborating with the NN central Investment Portfolio Group office and local CVP portfolio divisions. Furthermore, you will be: Managing a team of 4-6 highly skilled colleagues connected to major capacity expansion projects, as well as smaller optimization projects spanning local CVP areas and the US production site. Responsible for the detailed analysis and processing of data within our extensive large-scale projects. Your insights will enable informed decision-making and efficient project management. Easing the workload for the area CVP/SVP by consistently ensuring the production of coherent, high-quality materials, and maintaining a clear understanding of our area's strategic direction. While the 4-5 portfolio managers on your team will handle material production, you will be responsible for ensuring the materials meet the required standards. The location is hybrid-based; we expect an average week of approx. 2 days in Kalundborg, and 3 days in Virum/Bagsværd/at home. During the initial six months, we strongly encourage the Candidate to work on-site until they are fully integrated. Qualifications You have decided to apply for this exciting opportunity because of your previous experience handling portfolio responsibilities within the pharmaceutical industry. Your background ideally includes not only managing portfolios but also demonstrating your leadership capabilities by leading teams of professionals as well. Furthermore, You will have an exceptional analytical mindset, capable of dissecting complex problems and transforming data into actionable insights. You will have several years of experience in business project management and/or strategic governance. Proficiency in generating reports and crafting high-quality presentations. A Master's degree in Business, Finance, or Project Management is advantageous. About the department Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) department produces insulin and GLP-1 to treat diabetes and obesity. You will be part of API Investment Project Office, a growing area supporting large investment projects within API, and will be part of the API IPO Management group. We have 50 years of expertise in biotechnological production at Novo Nordisk in Kalundborg.
